Stop! This is not entirely true, though. As long as you know what you are looking for and how to patch it all you will be fine.  A lot of developers are doing things but don’t really have the time, due to the speed of the project that needs delivering and low budget issues.

Open source is a great platform if you just pay care and attention to the vulnerability issues.
