We were provided with an email forwarded to us by our client, originating from Siteground. The subject of the email pertained to the detection of issues with their website, urging immediate action. Evidently, Siteground’s scanning tool scrutinized the website and identified instances of malware present on 12 specific URLs.
In response, we conducted a thorough investigation into this matter, manually initiating a scan of the website ourselves. Our assessment yielded no evidence of malware whatsoever. Furthermore, upon reviewing the report provided by Siteground, it came to our attention that the flagged piece of code was, in fact, implemented approximately two years ago.
The incongruity between the reported malware presence and our findings prompts a sense of peculiarity, indeed.
Anyone else has this type of issues?
