This transaction can’t be processed. Please pay with another card.

We were having little issues when testing Paypal Pro account for client’s new site. With this error message on Magento 2 platform.

“Error Processing Payment
ErrorMessage – This transaction can’t be processed. Please pay with another card.”

Trying to debug and not getting anywhere. After calling Paypal support we finally found the right assistant that knew about this error message and messaged to solve the issue.

Solution: Client didn’t not sign up for Paypal Pro account. Once the client had signed up for Paypal Pro account the error message was gone! Simple!
