Shopify fraud protection for merchants. Shopify offers a Fraud Protection service for their merchants. To reduce the time and stress of manually reviewing orders. Allowing merchants to focus on selling their products and services. Using this new service, a merchant will get full protection from fraudulent chargebacks on protected products.

Shopify fraud protection allows small businesses the peace of mind knowing they are protected, and their sales are guaranteed. Larger and growing businesses Fraud Protection provides fast and easy services. This results in lower operating costs and better customer experiences.

How does it work?

Merchants stores are integrated with Fraud Protection. For example, once the merchants have signed up, they will pay a small fee for each order protected if a chargeback occurs. Shopify covers the amount and the merchant has nothing to worry about.

How to set it up:

1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings.
2. Click Payment providers.
3. Next to Fraud Protect for Shopify Payments, click Set up Fraud Protect.
4. Read and accept the terms of service.
5. Select whether you’d like unprotected Shopify Payments orders to be manually captured or automatically captured. Manual capture means you can review unprotected orders before capturing payment.
6. Click Activate Fraud Protect.
7. Click Done.

Fraud Protect is currently only available to few stores in the U.S.
