Atosa Manufacturing

Web design

The history

Atosa is an international manufacturer of commercial refrigeration, marketing to companies worldwide including schools, hotels, and restaurants.  With offices across the world, Atosa was looking for a redesign of their British, German and French sites that would aesthetically appeal to the country’s habitats and strengthen their overall presence.

Gone but not forgotten

Rak Design originally lost the pitch for this opportunity to a competitor due to the size and proximity of the company.  However, the final web design didn’t capture what Atosa wanted for the new sites! Suddenly faced with tight deadlines, an even tighter budget and immense pressure to deliver a new design, Atosa came back to Rak Design for help!  With a time-frame halved by the previous design agency, the team at Rak Design had to pull out all the stops to create something that would go above and beyond the brief.

Communicating with B2B clients, chains and large organisations and with a widespread presence, Atosa wanted sites that were multi-functional and would appeal to their growing market.  They needed websites where they could list their products, feature the technical specs and register warranties.

Creating design waves

Creating a strong yet staple design, the team wanted to deliver a dynamic site that would appeal to a much wider audience and could be adaptable for the locality it was being viewed in.  Combining the aesthetics of the products with the technical specs, the site needed to visually stimulate the audience yet accommodate sales and credit limit functionalities.

Bringing together a bespoke system which enabled clients to place orders from the site, have credit control levels (restricting the client from placing any orders if the credit limit has been reached) and register warranties of the products; the team exceeded the company’s expectations.

Today, Atosa now has a multi-functional website which has been launched in the UK and France; with a modified site currently in progress for their German counterparts.

A great achievement for the Rak Design team!
